Schengen visa for uk spouse

Hi there

I am applying Schengen visa for my husband.

I would like to ask how can I give proof of his income he was working for a company from April 2022 to oct 2022.

He has stopped working for the company in nov and he became self employed and how can I proof that he is earning. He does not a self assessment because he started in November 2022
