- Letter asked to provide additional documentation on question 5.6: have you been outside the state for more than 6 weeks per annum in the past 5 years. I originally answered Yes to this question. At the time of my application I had not lived in Ireland for the past 5 years, so I wrote that prior to a certain date, I was not living in Ireland. The letter asked me to provided exact dates and times along with an explanation of why, etc. It also advised that the answer you give should be since you entered the state. The letter included a new copy of the same page that has question 5.6. I answered "no" this time as I had not been out of the state more than 6 weeks per annum since entering the state.
