Applied in July 2021, still had no e-vetting, does email to them make sense? (sent 2 in the past and FOI and got just generic response)
I've heard eVetting is valid for about 6 months; if you didn't get it so far, possibly they don't aim to issue a decision yet.
Did you have a lot of absences/a bunch of different stamps maybe, or?
It's getting close to 2 year mark (or it might even be 19 months, as things develop now), have you considered warning letter in preparation for JR?

You heard it wrong. I know someone whose e vetting was done an year ago but approval letter was received this year almost after 11 months or so , so it really depends on their mood if they decide to delay the case further than they keep on issuing am up to date vetting requests

Looks like some of the TD's might be getting some complaints from constituents about the disgraceful mismanagement of applications by the Department!

Check this out from The Dáil yesterday:

My application nonEU was straightforward - only been absent 2 month in the first year (but we submitted the application add all missed days) stamp 3 than stamp 1G
My spouse had the same but stamp 1 than stamp 4, but he got evetting 2 months ago, but still no approval yet.

About JR, when we can start the process?

Can you afford hiring a barrister for JR route? If yes than go ahead. I would wait till may 2023 and than decide.
You can sue on the minister and proceed with a judicial review soon after the current processing time 19 months or 23 months max.

You can start with a warning letter(s) first, I reckon
shouldn't be as expensive initially

Once again a copy paste answer. The only new info was "a new team is setup that give acknowledgement in weeks" which tbh is not new info. It was quite evident.

Absolutely disgraceful and disrespectful answer! He didn't even answer the but about e-vetting. Why are they doing e-vetting for 2023 applications, when they even say the average or median time from application to approval is 19 months?!? Surely it is a dumb idea doing the e-vetting when you haven't even reviewed the application. When people get e-vetting for jobs, they don't get it done 19 months before starting! Something fishy going on!

It happens sometimes. Try different devices/incognito/waiting a day or two - people sometimes said one of those helped.

If you sent it before Jan 22 (When Scorecard was introduced), would be extremely weird to judge you based on something that did not exist back then.

7. A letter, on headed paper, from your current employer showing the date of commencement of employment (if applicable), and copies of 3 recent pay slips (dated within the previous 6 months), and copies of your P60 or tax statement from the Revenue Commissioners for each year of residence claimed.
8. Copies of bank statements for all of your bank accounts for at least 3 of the previous 6 months.
[...]
If you are a non‐EU citizen making a standard application based on having 5 years residence:

It’s not scorecard approach. It asks for 6 months of bank statements in scorecard. Just provide the documents they ask for and it should be fine.

I applied in Nov 2021 with prescorecard documents and got approval already.
