how are you notified about your visa?

Please could someone let me know how you are notified or contacted? Is it email or phone?

If you have emailed them they may e-mail you back with details or they may write to you.My husband has always phoned them at regular intervals and this is when he is told .

I think they'd had enough of us emailing and ringing them and once the Visa was approved, couldn't get rid of us quickly enough!! we got and email and 2 phone calls. It was great...

They will normally phone you first and then write to you asking you to bring your passport, TB Certificate (if applicable) and the date you intend to travel to UK
