Legal Industry Jobs - Work Permit

Post by hoo » Wed Apr 21, 2004 8:43 am

Hi,

I was just wondering if anyone had any experience or information in relation to what kinds of positions in the legal industry are likely to be granted a work permit - not solicitor/barrister level though.

Thanks in advance

Have you already got a job offer?

If not, I can tell you that the paralegal market which you are aiming at is so tough that no one will sponsor you for a WP.

Luckily, I do have a job offer.

I have been working for a firm on my working holiday maker's visa.

We are currently looking at our options as they want to continue to employ me.

I was just wanting to see if anyone had any info on Work Permits granted for legal related positions.
