When was your stay regularised?
No sin in failing, you just have to try and try again!

You were already advised last year about when you would qualify.

It's your name under which you applied.

Cover Letter

Post by SBASCO4 » Sat Jun 17, 2023 5:24 am

Good Morning Guys,

I have submitted my citizenship application online and I have bio-metric appointment tomorrow with paid scanning documents service.

documents on checklist they asked- My passport, ilr residence card, English test certificate, two referee declaration forms and 5 years proof of residency in uk. I have all these documents ready

My questions is

(1)on my cover letter I must should mention I been overstay in past 8/9 years ago? and same for my 2 parking tickets and 1 ticket for driving in bus lane?

(2) by filling online Application I made one mistake on 2nd referee email instead of iCloud.com I wrote gmail.com so how can I correct this mistake now as application is submitted already?

I would be grateful if anyone can advice me on. Thank you

mistake in citizenship application

Post by SBASCO4 » Wed Jun 21, 2023 7:11 am

Hello Everyone, I am the only applicant my children are already British. I have submitted my application on start of this month and one question I incorrectly filled in:
Do you have any dependants not applying with you at this time?
I clicked NO.
How should I tell HO that I am the only applicant? or just leave it because no details were entered for any other applicant?
Biometrics are submitted and documents are uploaded already.

any advice please guys. Thanks

Confirmation Email / Application Submitted

Post by SBASCO4 » Sun Jul 02, 2023 6:52 am

Good Morning everyone.
I submitted my naturalisation application online nearly a month ago and bio-metrics about 2 weeks ago but I did not receive submitted application confirmation email like we have received your application and will make decision 6 months time etc etc as we did get for ILR or other applications in past.

I just got email from UK visa & immigration for payment successful/fee paid with reference number.
2nd email I got from Sapera Steria for bio-metrics.

So my question is do we get confirmation email for online submitted nationality application or not?

thanks in advance.

Recurring situation; not every applicant gets updated each step of the process in recent times.
