Still no payment processed for me.
Ah well, nobody to blame but myself. No idea why my initial application didn't go through, but I'll be getting flashbacks to it for months on end.

I have the same feelings, cause it was also my fault, that I uploaded incorrect photo...

Does anyone know if more invitations will be issued? Fees were processed on 25 May… Any news from other forums?
It’s just 5 business days left. It’ll really be last minute notices if the invites are sent next week. The accommodations are getting super expensive there too…

I emailed them and they told me: Please be advised invitations to the upcoming ceremony continue to issue.
But it was Jun 8 morning

Thanks. I was hopeful but I’m losing hope now. Hope you’ll hear from them again soon.

Hi all, my Wife was offered citizenship and we paid the 950 on 21-2-23, confirmation we received in April, but as yet no invitation to the ceremony! A little worried to say the least!

Posting for a friend that was invited for the next cerimony.

So my friend got his invitation yesterday. He was supposed to be attending the cerimony on Tuesday, 20th at 1pm. He was very excited, but he didn't see it until late night as he's on holidays.

This morning he went thru the e-mail again and noticed they are asking him to register for the cerimony "by clicking the 'Yes' link'. When he tries to do that, he's redirected to another page saying "Registration closed" with the following message

"Registration for Citizenship Ceremony 2023-1pm has been closed. We hope to see you at one of our future events!"

He's now unsure if he's able to attend the cerimony or not. To be honest, having less than 24 hours to confirm your attendance is a bit harsh, some people don't check their email 24 / 7.

I was reading thru the e-mail and the message is very ambiguous. My first thoughts were that he could only register for his section an hour before it started, but it does ask him to confirm by responding/clicking on the 'yes' link.

What do you guys think?

Hi

Yes thats correct you are required to confirm them so that they now what numbers are attending…
The slot is full by now… as you said he is going on holidays anyway…. So he can contact them and let them know wished to be invited for the next one.

I would suggest that would be for an in person part of the event.

Correct, that’s an hour before it.

Judging by the fact registration is closed - I'm inclined to believe that's it. It's about to happen literally next week.

Holy hell, I was about to have it.

Anyway, no payment processed email for me.

Same people are receiving a reminder e-mail today, even tho they still get the same message when they try to click the yes link.

Is this some kind of joke?
I’ve received a reminder today but following the lonk it says:
Registration for Citizenship Ceremony 2023 - 1pm has been closed. We hope to see you at one of our future events!

Although on the same page it says:
Register By
19 June 202313:59GMT

I find it very unfair and unprofessional!

My friend has the same "Register By 19 June 202313:59GMT" info. The exact same thing. I wonder if that's the issue with the registration.

This is nonsense. How could they send more invitations than thry can actually handle? Personally I supposed to travel from Dublin to Killarney with my wife as she managed to register, took a day off and this..

Just an update:
I finally managed to register through the link. Not sure if it was because I connected them or it’s just was a system glitch because of large amount of requests
