Document question on UKVCAs Site

So, I'm uploading my daughter's documents for her citizenship and I'm confused. Some of the documents it asks for are the following:

The passport issued by XXXXX for Miss XXXX XXXXX XXXXX. Fine, I uploaded it.

Then later it says: If Miss XXXX XXXXX XXXXXX has a passport then provide this with your application. If Miss XXX XXXX XXXXX does not have a passport then you must provide another officially-issued identity document. This could include an official travel document or national identity card.

Can I skip this since I already upload the passport it asked for?

It also says: If Miss XXXX XXX XXXX told us that their parent is a British citizen then you must provide us evidence of their citizenship. This could include their British passport, a certificate of citizenship or their birth certificate. Fine. did that as well.

Then again later it says: Miss XXXX XXXXX XXXXXX parent's foreign (non-EU) passport or alternative evidence of residence

And: If Miss XXXX XXXX XXXXX told us that their parent is settled in the UK then you must provide us evidence of their settled status. This could include a BRP, a letter from the Home Office, an endorsement in their passport or another document certifying permanent residence.

Since her parents are UK citizens can we skip the documents relating to Settled status and producing a Non EU passport? We do not have settled status anymore and isn't are non EU passports not relevant anymore being UK citizens?

When and where was your daughter born?

On what basis does she qualify for British citizenship?

What is her current UK immigration status?

What route to citizenship did you follow as your previous posts suggest EU and US citizen parents?

Was the child born before or after you became British? Or before or after you got Permanent Residence or settled status?

Her mother was/is Norwegian, father was/is American.

She was born in Norway, moved here when she was 1

Her parents became citizens last year (2022). We both previously had settled status under the UK/EU Settlement Agreement. My daughter has settled status (since 2020).

We have filled out the form online entitled "Register for British citizenship as a child under 18"

Presumably the option you chose in the list in the form is registration option as 'Other - at discretion' and not that her parents are British. How you answer the questions and what options you choose are really important.

You could have applied for her when either parent also applied. There was no need to wait.

As she has settled status, she does not need your information. She applies at discretion under section 3(1) in her own right as both parents are already British.

Yes, we could ave registered at the same time, but it would require to have any extra £1,021 lying around.

Yes, the route is 'Other'. There was no other relevant option to choose. Once filling in the application, it was asked if the parents were British, which of course we answered yes too.

Does this mean we can skip the questions regarding the uploading of other passports?

You can upload them, it makes no difference either way.
