BRP waiting time after Successful appeal

Post by Shamakk » Mon Nov 27, 2023 7:37 pm

Hi all ,
Iam writing to get some advice on waiting times on issuing BRP card and status .
So my situation is as follows :
After serving a criminal sentence, deportation order has been made which I have appealed and had a first year tribunal hearing which was allowed. Then the home office has made an application to the first tier tribunal for permission to appeal, but that has been refused. Then the Home Office put an application directly to the upper tribunal for permission to appeal which was also refused. With a note no further appeal allowed.
I have received the decision from the upper tribunal about two months ago, there was no further appeals or information whatsoever, and I would like to know what are the waiting times for maybe issued a status and BRP card. I am still on immigration bail for about a year now and on GPS TAG., report weekly at home office. Thank you

Judging by your profile, you're an EU national - are you sure you're entitled for a BRP? What kind of a leave are you getting?

EU nationals may have to use the app to prove their status, as they don't need a visa to travel to UK.
Not a qualified immigration adviser. Use links and references given to gain confirmation and/or extra information.

This is the thing , as far as my solicitor told me is we need to wait for Home Office to change the decision which allows me to stay and to issue me a status and BRP card ,
By status iam presuming it’s a settled status .
To find out the progress it’s impossible, I’ve tried ringing Home Office ect no one knows anything , and when I asked at my reporting they said there is no update in the system .

In matters like this and especially when HO lost, waiting time can not be estimated. Hopefully your continued enquiry will prompt a quicker response.

Yeah the thing is that now which ever number I ring for the Home Office, I’m getting to the wrong place nobody tells me anything. When I try to get any information in my reporting centre, they are saying they cannot see anything on my file as of updates. I don’t have any details as of contact details for my caseworker, so can’t contact them, my solicitor has sent numerous emails to different email addresses I’ve been given without any success, even to vary my bail conditions to report monthly due to my full-time employment and the needs of visiting reporting centre every Monday weekly .

Does anyone happen to have any direct numbers or how to get through to the correct department have spent hours ringing the home office, but we have which ever department I get to it’s the wrong one, then I’m given a different number which also doesn’t get me anywhere
