Waiting for replacement BRP.. need to travel urgently

Hello, I hold ILR status and I am a registered traveller. I am a non visa citizen.

I am waiting for my replacement BRP because I lost it but I need to travel urgently. I did find it recently but I have already cancelled my brp. Online advice says I should have my brp with at the border. Passport gates don’t often work for me for some reason.

Can someone advise the likelihood of being refused entry at the border? I called visa helpline and the person on the phone laughed at me and said I would not even be able to board the flight to the uk without a valid brp (even though I said I was a non visa citizen)

They're contractors who sometimes give incorrect advice as they're not employed by HO.

ILR as a status doesn't expire (if you're within absence limits and so on). You probably will be fine explaining yourself at the border.

Can you please update that did you received your BRP or not & your timeline as well please
