Letters from Previous Employers?

Hello all. Please I have a question: if my husband has worked 3 different jobs in the last 12 months and we want to rely on category B has he has not worked for his current employer for 6 months or more, do I have to get letters from all his previous employers? I think the appendix says letters to accompany all the payslips but we cannot get letters from his previous employers, only from his current employer.
