As far as I know, all applications are processed by BHC in Islamabad, it doesnt matter which VAC you have submitted, whether it be at Lahore, Karachi, Mirpur or Islamabad...they all get processed at one place - Islamabad.

Has anyone ever tried to contact BHC islamabad by phone? and in your experience r they more helpful than VAC staff? I tried contacting them twice, but couldn't get through... I mean in terms of giving you information/updates on appl status, are they better than VAC staff or jus as random? lol

If i were u i wouldnt call BHC staff directly it could affect ur application, if u bug em it could influence their decision in issuing u a visa

another thing i worry abt is this new age rule cuz both me n hubby r under 21 but we made sure we applied before the 27th Nov wen new rule was made... i still have my doubts though... i mean wat if they turn around and refuse him a visa because of the age thing? They shouldn't but u neva kno 4 certain wat they gona turn around and say!

nope neva! they cant refuse u on that, stop worryin unnecasary hun seriously u'l drive urself mad i can assure u u wnt get rejected. Even if u applied AFTER 27th nov theres still some sort of an exeption - for those hu got married after sept 16 (cant remmbr if thas the exact date) the new rule dont apply to them..only to those hu got married very recently

do u kno wat da rule is for those who are refused a visa for wateva reason, but want to make a fresh application/appeal against da decision but they are still under 21? Can dey still do this if they are under 21? I mean is there an exception for applicants in this situation?

Izzie my understanding is if they reject u, u can appeal the decision or ask them to review it but cant make fresh application until ur both 21, good luck 2 every1

Hi everyone,

My Hubby applied from Islamabad on the 26th Nov and was told that he would get an answer in 15 days, but still no news.

I think Islamabad is the worst n slowest vac in pk, as it seems like people applying in karachi n Lahore are getting quicker responses!

My heart goes out to you all who are waiting, as I know how difficult this whole process is.

Do you guys think we can expect a response this month or will have to wait till next year now, when all the holidays are done n dusted with?
