In which case my application should have considered for processing last week iteself?.
That is a good info..

If your application has been considered for processing lastweek than you should expect your results and passport with you sometime this week...

that's wat we found/ understood with the dates a of today..

EDITED:
Application Received Date = Date on reference letter

I am not sure about this..

Can any of the applicants who got their Visa's match your dates, and confirm if that lady at HO mentioned it right??

HSMP.. James.. n others...
Atleast for me: Application Received Date = Date on reference letter

Surprised! On 24th "waiting for consideration" and on 25th "waiting for further consideration". May be their system has gone crap.

I recommend you call them again (may be tomorrow). Their database is crap I guess

Here was my case (received visa on 19th Feb):

13/02(9AM) Under Consideration (someone is looking into it)
13/02(12PM) Under Consideration (someone is looking into it)
13/02(4:30PM) Under Consideration (someone is looking into it)
16/02(9AM) Under Consideration (someone is looking into it)
16/02(12:30PM) Waiting for further consideration
16/02(1:30PM) Under Consideration (not processed yet - waiting to be processed)

In an hour, status changed from "waiting for further consideration" to "under consideration" - which is crazy!

www.spammer.com/uk-immigration- ... extension/

In this link look at the case of username srikanthp.

Lot of strange things are happening with HO this time. I guess the guys at contact centre have no process info. They just play around with these words....'under consideration', 'waiting for consideration','waiting for further consideration'. I think they dont carry any value atleast for me. My guess is that there is some problem at the dispatch section which triggers this inordinate delays. any thoughts?

Hi guys

I too echo the thoughts of goldhill...

Why cant they use similar terms and put us out of misery.

Surely stating "Awaiting to be assigned to Case Worker" or "Case Worker on the case" or "Awaiting Decision to be taken"....along these lines...

They just want to make it difficult....thats all..

Anyway good luck for those guys who are waiting to hear this week....still two days left...keep everything crossed.

Regards

Haven been calling HO. I am not sure what they say....Yesterday total I spoke to them 4 times, out of which 2 times they say the status is: Waiting further consideration, 2 times they say: Waiting for consideration.

I suspect that they have 2 seperate call centres out of which one of the Call centre does not get the latest status information.

27Feb: Under Consideration

Hi,

I need to submit my application for Tier I (HSMP) extension on 16/03/09.

I had a query regarding the documents for maintenance funds, I have submitted.

Can I show the funds in Cash ISA account?
Do you require a letter from the bank stating that the amount in the bank can be withdrawn at any given time or a three months statement is sufficient enough?

Please help!!!!!!!!

Hi Guys

Applied - 8th Jan 09
Recieved and letter dated - 9th jan 08

I have been calling HO since last 2 weeks to get an update , but everytime i call i get some new status.

First time i called it was "Under Consideration"
Second time it was "Awaiting Further Consideration - Which means it has gone for further processing"
Third time it went back to "Awaiting Consideartion - as per those Call center guys that means waiting in que and needs to be assigned to a case worker"

I dont understand what all these actualy mean ??? can some one please tell me as everytime i call it seems like some one picked to work on it and then left it back in que ... is that what really happens ???

Hi deepsam,

I too have the same response. I am really upset with the HO response on the Status Update information.

I suspect that they have 2 different call centres out of which the data/information in one of the centre does not get updated with latest status. So if your call lands on that call centre, you will hear the old status information.

Yesterday I called 4 times:
1. Waiting for further consideration
2. Waiting for consideration
3. Waiting for consideration
4. Waiting for further consideration

Today I called 3 times:
1. Waiting consideration.
2. Waiting for further consideration
3. Waiting for further consideration

HO recently published a document for increase in the FEE levels for all types of VISAs. In that document, they state that they provide World Class Service......I treat this as 3rd class service.

The incountry applications cannot be tracked online for the status update....where as VFS for out of country applications provides online status details by ONLINE/ SMS etc....Dont know when will HO realise about their poor service.

Hi,

Make sure that nothing is halt on your employer side. In my case they sent a letter to employer asking him to confirm my detail. My employer was not replying them but I force him to do so.

Hi m_kamran..

How did you come to know that they had contacted your employer?
Besides what information you need to provide for urgent treatment? I mean what supporting documents you provided? And did you fax them those details?

My employer received a letter saying that call on this number to confirm my employment detail. Case worker also asked my employer to send an email confirming my details.

For urgent treatment I sent them letter giving reason and flight ticket.

I wonder if results are posted out in batches rather than on a daily basis. It seems as if lots of people receive results all of a sudden and then it goes quiet for a while.

Best of luck to everybody waiting.
