DEAR moderaters

i am on ILR, my wife and my daughter came to uk 2 months ago , my daughter is 13 months old she was born in paksitan due to delay in process of the visa by the british high commission in pakistan. they both got pakistani passports with settlement visas on them,visas on both of their passports state no resource to public funds. as i got ILR on my passport, am i eligible to get child tax credits?.

As you have your ILR i believe you are entitled to claim benefits.
The child tax credits have to be claimed in both yours and your wifes name ie joint claim.This does not effect your wifes visa.child benefit can be claimed in your name only.
