What date can I apply for Naturalisation at NCS?

What date can I apply for Naturalisation at NCS?

Hi All,
One of my friends arrived in the UK on 8th Dec 2000 on WP. Got ILR on 12th Nov 2004.
Can he apply for Naturalisation at NCS on 7th Dec 2005? Or it must be on or after 8th Dec 2005?

Planning to clear the Citizenship Test sometime in Nov 2005.

I would say that the 7th at an NCS office should be OK, given that you are not actually submitting the application to IND when going to an NCS office. So assuming they pass the application it would arrive in Liverpool on the 8th. That being so your defined 5-year period is from 9th December 2000 to 8th December 2005 ... and you were clearly in the UK on 9th December 2000.
