Extension Application

I am in UK on HSMP application and want to apply to extension(switching ) to Tier 1. I am staying with my wife here.
I know that i need to show (800 + 533) pounds as Maintenance.

I just need to know whether the funds for dependent are to be shown in their account or the main applicant can show all the balance in his account for maintenance.

I felt it has to be the account of the main applicant but want to confirm it.

"If the main applicant has been present in the United Kingdom for 12 months or more, the main applicant or the family member of the highly skilled worker must have £533 to support himself/herself"

You can have all the fund in your account since you are the main applicant or dependant's fund can be in dependant's account which ever way you choose is OK

You are right in both..

800+533 and

the money for both can be in ur MAIN applicant account or respective accounts..

You are right in both..
800+533 and

the money for both can be in ur MAIN applicant account or respective accounts..

Agree with tvn_ramesh. To add to it If you are using main applicant's account to show maintenance funds for dependents, make sure you mention this very clearly in your cover letter and highlight it.
