Extension under tier-1 Fees dilemma??

Post by euphoria1947 » Mon Aug 31, 2009 12:23 pm

Hi,

I would like to give some back ground before throwing some questions. I got my HSMP in November 2007. Now,I would like to extend my stay under Tier-1 extension and also for my wife's dependent VISA.

I've read the document and came to know that I've to fill tier-1-general-form and I've to pay the fees of £820 and £50 for dependent as we are making application together.
I got confused when my friend gave me some information. I'm just mailing this for confirmation and to get correct answer.

1) How much Fees should be paid for the main applicant and for Wife dependent application??
Is it £820 and £50( or is it £465)??

2)In the tier-1 general form, the 9th page in the application says "It should come behind Payment details sheet Section 1 and main application will start from page 10th or Section 2".
My belief is that the 9th page will come behind the 7th page when double sided print out is taken. Is that right??
What would happen to Page 8th of Section where should it go???

Please clarify this..

cheers,
Paddi

I am also in the same category as urs
1.We need to pay £(820 + 50)
2. I also was wondering about this. I just printed 7 & 9 together and then printed 8 as a single page. I was also wondering why it is like that...... In dependent's form the order is correct.

Thank's Mate.. Thanks for clarification...

I just got confused when I read "TIER 1 (GENERAL) APPLICATION - PAYMENT GUIDANCE NOTES" and "dependent" section in that colum it said "Any dependant applications that are submitted at the same time as the main applicant’s form will incur a fee of £50 per dependant unless it is for a child aged 18 years or over".

Then I re-read again and analyzed that it applies to child above 18.

i've question for dependent application. What did you fill in for

H2 - Has the main applicant received notification that their application for leave to remain under the Points Based System has been successful?

H4 - Has the main applicant applied to have his/her application assessed in accordance with paragraphs 39-42 of the HSMP Forum Ltd. Judicial Review Policy Document?

and

J4 - Tick to confirm that the dependant has sent:

According to me it is
H2 - No
H4 - No
and
J4 -> I guess I shouldn't tick it.

is that right???

Cheers

Payment details page also includes Page 8.

So, this is how I'm printing it...
Page 1 - with nothing at the back..
Page 2-3, 4-5, 6-7, 8-9..

Hope this shud be fine.

Just ensure that the section 2 starts on a fresh page.
