Before when I have to apply for COS and VISA

Before when I have to apply for COS and VISA

Hi,

My VISA (WORK VISA) is expiring on 01-Oct-09 and my Company has agreed to apply for COS.

Can anyone please advise before how many days we need to apply for COS.

Also I heard that COS can be done in one day. Is it true?

Yes Cos can be done in 1day as long as your current company have the Sponser License approved already to give you the Cos..

Please go through various threads to make sure about various points related to Salary, Title, Code of Practice etc.. please read posts of ash786 who covered well some important points like Code of Practice, salary, job title etc..

HO says you shd apply 28days before expiry of your current visa but many apply 2-3months before also.. since ur visa is expiring on 1st Oct 2009.. you need to hurry uup.. shd apply asap... atleast it shd reach HO before your current visa expires..
