Hi DDWDM

I managed to schedule my interview without the letter either by calling the IPS for the present position of my application. They advised me that they had sent out the interview letter and gave me the reference number over the phone. When you call to arrange the interview, they will ask you your address and this reference. They didn't even ask for that reference number when i got to the interview. If they have sent the letter to you but you haven't received it yet, ask for the reference to book an interview and they will give it to you. Hope this helps

This one was for my wife. We used Maidstone and I do not remember whether it was 1st class post of 2nd class.

But for me I have not yet received my passport interview letter yet. so I called up and got the interview set for Wednesday.

I had my interview today.

They never send passport by Royalmail. It is always Secure Courier. That's what was confirmed by the lady when I had my passport interview.

The interview was staright forward and lasted fo about less than 10 minutes.
initally i was asked to spell out my name as the same would appear in the passport.
And asked for my addreesss
The questions are split into different categories
1)Questions regarding u r applucation
what email address did u use
what was the telephone number provided in the application
2) U r financial realted questions
like do u have any credit cards,how long have were u holding this credit card and which bank
any accounts and mortagague?
what network is u r mobile phone on
how many years have u been using this phone?

3) u r current address and whom u live with
4)u r parents details
names and date of birth of u r mother
5) regarding u r refereee
what is his name
and approximate age of the countersignatory.
