You can get your documents notarised by a British Notary Public. A quick google search should be enough to get you a list solicitors who provide notary service and are located near you. You could also approach the High Commission of India, London to do attest your documents. You will need to contact the consular wing for this.

You should also double check with Australia House in London if it has any guidance on attestation of docs. Best thing would be to go along with your original papers to Australia House and get them to certifiy copies.

Why would he need a notary public? Australia normally accepts copies certified by a solicitor or JP. And I'm not so sure they would accept anything certified by the Indian High Commission in the UK.

One should check the website of the ACS for specific instructions.
