Joint account with wife and sister in law??

Post by mhkhan » Fri Dec 18, 2009 1:06 am

Dear All,

Sorry to bother all again.
I am in the UK on the tier 1.

For my dependents, can I show funds of an account outside UK which is jointly held in this order by my Sister in law, wife and myself? The title obviously shows all the names. The account is not linked to joint signatury as it is AND/OR.

Appreciate all replies.

Regards,

durak

Thanks Durak.

Is this despite the point mentioned in the guidelines that the account can be joint with one or other? Which I understood could be 2 or 3 people as long as the name of the main applicant is on the title of the account!

It can be joint with the dependent. Not others.

EDIT: But after reading the actual wording, I may be wrong.
