Don't apply in person. With the different addresses you'll be unlikely to be granted the visa on the day. PEO appointments are for 100% straightforward applications. Apply by post with a covering letter explaining why you live apart. Do you have evidence you can submit to prove you meet regularly? Why can't you rent a flat together or both live with your family?

I'm confused. You say you live apart due to the distance from your husband's work place and your university....but in your 1st post you say you meet everyday and weekends. This is something the Home Office will query.
The reason I;ve suggested you don't apply in person as you won't be given the opportunity to explain why you don't have a joint address.
The documents will simply be checked for validity within the regulations and if they don't meet the criteria your application will be refused.
I suggest you seek legal advice before you apply.

Make sure that when you explain in an accompanying letter, you tell the truth. The checking officers are experienced in spotting errors. You need to be able to support everything with firm evidence...especially proof of contact. Travel tickets, phone calls etc.
Could you afford legal help with your application from an OISC registered Immigration Advisor?

what do you mean you are 'allowed' to stay at his place only once a work? Is this because of his tenancy agreement. problem really is that you are leaving separate lives in a way which is somewhat against the rules. as asked by Casa, you need to be to explain how it is that you can meet everyday but yet you say its too far for either of you commute to work/uni everyday. What about weekends, holidays etc.

I was suggesting if you can afford it that you would benefit from legal assistance with your application.
