Life in the UK test requirement

Post by joh118 » Mon Dec 21, 2009 11:09 pm

Hi

I am 17 when I apply for ILR but I will be 18 when I actually qualify...but as I can submit my application 28 days before, I will still be 17. I presume I will turn 18 after I submit the application.

I know I don't have to do the test if I am under 17...so will I have to do it in my case?

I guess I might as well do it for citizenship next year but I have exams so I won't have the time...

any advice?
thanks

Hello,

No need to take exam if you are 17 at the time of applying.

So no need to worry.
