congrats to all who got extension.I just want to know if extension includes an additional restriction of "No employment as a doctor in training" even if it was not there in initial HSMP EC.

Payment has been deducted, but I haven't received any acknowledgement. Is it possible ?

I haven't included any cover letter with my application, is that fine or would my appliction get rejected ?

Had I discovered this forum prior to my application, I wouldn't make such mistake, so stupid of me.

Post by nand1v5 » Wed Jan 20, 2010 4:48 pm

Hi,

I have been a silent visitor of this forum, all details very nicely shared for the benefit of others. Thanks to everyone who posted the valuable information.

I have a query, I have applied for tier 1 extension.

Application posted: 19th dec 09
application received: 21st dec 09
reference latter dated: 21st Dec 09
Amount deducted: 24th Dec 09
Still waiting after that.....

How will I know the approval date, prior to receiving the documents? will i get any email?

thanks in advance,
nand

My son's b'day gift - Tier 1 approved

Post by aspire2uk » Wed Jan 20, 2010 9:37 pm

Application date: 16-Dec-2009
Acknowledgment letter dated: 17th Dec 2009
Payment deducted : 17th Dec 2009
Approval Date: 14th Jan 2010
Passport returned on 20th Jan 2010
Tier 1 Validity: 14th Jan 2013

Received Tier 1 (switching from WP to Tier1-G) approval with God's grace. What better way could there be other than receiving this at a time when my son's b'day is nearing. Thank you everyone for your invaluable inputs.

I have a question that needs experts inputs here: For the 12th month (earnings proof), I had produced online bank statement. Refer my earlier post
(http://www.immigrationboards.com/viewto ... 1&start=80). After I sent the application pack, I received the bank statement which I sent this as additional document (along with cover letter) using 'Specialy Delivery' service to Croydon Contact centre (as given in Contact Centre address - http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/conta ... ctcentres/).

In the approval document pack that I received today, HO has not returned me this original bank statement (not the online printed but the original which I sent later just as a safety as an additional document). This could either mean that HO has not received it or they have not used/linked with my application or missed out in sending back to me. Please suggest how can I obtain this original statement back (need this as I need to sponsor my parents visitor visa). Thanks in advance.

Once again thanks for your invaluable contribution. In return, I will contribute to this forum in whatever way I can from here onwards.

No i have not received any email before getting my documents back. I have applied even with my four dependants and i was expecting that it might take some more time.

Anyway you will get visa soon. Wish you best of luck.

I have noticed that some cases take a little longer than usual and that doesn't mean anything about the outcome of the application. I am sure you will get a response pretty soon.
