hi guys,
I have applied for the Tier 1 Extension visa on 15th Dec 09. Due to Royal Mail or Natwest laziness, I was unable to attach the original 12 month bank statements for the salary. I have claimed 30 points and my previous earning and period is from 1st Dec 08 to 30th Nov 09.

Bank Statements attached are

Dec 08 (Original Bank Statement supplied)
Jan 09 (Online Print WITHOUT any stamp as local Branch can only go 6 months back thus unable to verify)
Feb 09 to Jun 09 (Original Bank Statements )
July 09 to Nov 09 (Print out statements with bank stamp on each page)

I am very worried about the Jan 09 bank statement as it is just an online print. I have supplied the 12 month payslips and p60. Can you guys please suggest do I stand any chance to get approval?

I submitted the orignal bank statements to Home Office on 21/12/2009 via special delivery as I recieved them from bank. Will they accept it ?

Hi Adnanmirza,

Check the below link. In this post krisdigitx has posted that he sent original bank statements later and they were accepted. But, he did mention that he called the customer service. So, maybe you need to call them as well. Maybe PM krisdigitx and get his experience.

Hello All,

I had submitted the documents for HSMP visa extension to Tier 1 on the 06th Jan 2010.

Because of the snow, eventhough I sent my documents by Royal mail special delivery, the royal mail website shows that it was delivered on Jan 11th 2010.

However I have not yet received any acknowledgement back and also no amount is deducted from account till today (Jan 13th 2010) on the visa processing fees.

I am really worried whether the application reached home office or not? What is happenning to my application?
Any suggestion from you on what I should do?

Thanks for your help.

, if your visa is still valid then no need to worry, some times it will take 3 to 4 working days to deduct ur money and i got reference letter after 8 days.

Hello folks,

Congratulations to all who have got their approvals recently.
Of those, who have received their approvals recently, could someone please clarify if there was any employer verification done, regarding the income. I work for a large company and our HR said that they would not be able to provide any income related information for enquiries over phone because of Data Protection reasons. Am worried this might be a problem if there is some verification involved. Did any of you face this problem? If so could you please explain how you managed to do this? I am planning to apply for HSMP to Tier1 extension for me and dependant spouse in a week's time.

Please advise.

Thanks

Hi,

The Tier1 Policy Guidance document talks about Police Registration. Is this required for all applicants who are in UK? Is this one of the certificates that you guys have included in your applications?

I need to apply in a week's time. Am getting worried now, as I do not have one and not sure of the procedure.

Can someone please share their experiences with this?

Normally, you wont know if employer verification is done until there is some problem. dont worry about it and provide proofs, employer contact details etc as per the guidance.

Hi meer_iet

Thanks a lot for clarifying. Did you send original marriage certificate with your application as well. I seem to have left it back in India. Wondering if I need to get someone to send it. I couldn't find any place where its mentioned as being mandatory.

Thanks

Only if you were issued visa on Foreign ID card. If HSMP was stamped on passport, no need to fill that.
I have my ILR since march 2013, previously based on HSMP+Tier1 ext. All views are my own, am not a professional on immigration matters.

For urgent processing

Post by steetley10 » Sat Jan 23, 2010 10:37 am

Guru's,
I had applied for extension on 6th Jan and got a confirmation letter on remittance by 11th Jan.
I could see from the website that processing time on an average takes 1 month.
I need to travel urgently to India on Feb 1st week for my brothers marriage as it got arranged only after submitting the application. Did anyone had this situation before?
Appreciate your help..

Cheers.
