Tier 1 General Maintenance Fund statements date Query

Hello,
I have question regarding my bank statement dates for the Maintenance fund requirement.
My usual statements dates are 20th to 20th of every month.

Would that be OK if i maintained the balance of £2800 from 28th to 29th ?? or it should be statement date to statement date i;e 20th to 20th.

Depends when you're sending the application.

HO only needs it to ascertain that you have had the funds over the previous 3 months & that you can sustain your initial period with that.

Which means, if you are applying today 18Feb10, you must show them a minimum of £2800 (for single applicant) over the previous 3 month period. 17Nov09 to 17Feb10.

It would be easier to grasp, if you can provide from 01Nov09 to 16Feb10.

I am bit confused,about the statement dates and actual 3 months period claimed,My monthly bank statement date is 20th to 20th of every month,but actually i have claimed period from 28th September to 29th of December.
So would that be OK if have not maintained fund from 20th September(new statement date) to 20th of December ?? but my actual period claimed falls within the statement dates (28th September to 29th December).
