New fees on current SET O forms

Post by gidoc » Fri Mar 19, 2010 6:07 pm

Hi,
Does anyone know if its okay to submit new fees on current SET O forms, which will become outdated on 6/04/10.
Perhaps new ones may come few days before the change date!
I am enquiring as I do not want to fill them all over again, my appointment being on 6/04/10.
Any advise?
Thanks
Best Regards

You would need to fill in the new forms as the new forms will have the new fees mentioned in them.

@visaseeker,
thats how i read it too and you are right..
There is no fees hike for PBS routes to ILR. Table in the UKBA PDF document only applies to non PBS routes to settlement or i am confused..
any opinions ?

Hi all,
I have some update on this from UKBA, for SET O applications wef 6/04/10
1.New forms will appear before 31/03, so there is no point in filling the 05/2009 foms.
2.New fees for ILR as mentioned on the website will apply from 6/04/10.
To clarfiy, the relevant ones for this forum are
ILR-PEO 1,095 + 154/ dependent
ILR-Postal 840 + 129/dependent
ILR dependent relative fee will also change as specified on the website but this is not for spouse or dependent children, which is what we are concerned about on this forum.
Hope this helps and clarifies the new changes for SET O applicants.
Best Regards

Hi gidoc,

Did they say in the update that Fees will increase for every one applying after 6th april in SET(0)?
Set (0) form is used by many categories..

Thanks,
Deep..

yes...they all fall within the appli form and not just ILR, every application on or after 6th April will incur the new fees (in Uk and out of UK applications).

Hi,
Thanks for this. The last bit is news but makes sense.
Now, does it mean the same applies to fees?? I would imagine not!

New Fees

Post by rashidawan » Fri Mar 26, 2010 9:51 pm

If I post my application on or around 31st of March 2010, Should I send the new fee or old ones. I am asking this question as the difference for me is around £300.

In addition, just to confirm that £129 fee is per dependant.

of course you will apply on old application form with the old fee, the new fee doesn't come into effect until 6th april.

Hi gidoc,

The new forms are not out yet but they should be released soon, I don't think you can apply on old forms with new fees as there is usually an amendment, however big or small, everytime they release new application forms...so just look out for them :) ALL THE BEST!!!

P.S. Even the payment slip page will change as it says the old fee :)

Is it new form? it is saying "Last Updated: 05 April 2012" but fee seems to be same. I think it is a mistake/error and we may see new form on 6th of April 12
