New Fees(06/04)-Is it applicable for PBS ILR apps (on Tier1)

Post by kmrk123 » Sun Mar 21, 2010 10:01 pm

Hi,

I have some confusion around the new fees which is effective from 6th Apr 2010. As per the Home Office document, this is applicable for non PBS ILR cases and NOT for PBS ILR (like Tier-1 General Migrant). But the exclusion is not clearly specified.

I am applying for ILR under the WP (4yrs) followed by Tier-1(1yr) category.
I assume that the new fees is not applicable to for this case even if I apply after 6th April. Can somebody please confirm if my assumption is correct?

Thanks in anticipation!

Hello mate,
I did check the page 4 and none of that corresponds to ILR in PBS route..
But if you look at page 3 that tells about ILR application for NON PBS applicants.
unless we both are looking at different PDF.
I got it from this link.
http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/sitec ... ation-fees

Hope this help to clarify..

Just to clarify ILR Fees are changing as specified in my earlier post on two different thereads.
ILR is not given on point basis, hence it is referred to as non-PBS in the fee structure sheet on UKBA website. This will be clear when we see the new forms, hence there is little sense in discussing this further.

Applying for ILR (irrespective of PBS / Non-PBS route) on / after 06Apr10? Then new fees apply.
