Outstanding Tax Bill

i have a tax bill that i havent paid that has been taken to the best debt collectors in australia, only heard of it yesterday, will that affect whether i get my visa or not? do they even check? its not like i had to provide any details about it for the application or mention any outstanding debts...

It sounds like it is an Austrlian tax debt?

If so, no you will not be declined for that reason. UKBA has no interest or knowledge of it.
