New Born Baby - WP Holder - Section 4.1 FLR O form

Post by manenoor » Wed Apr 07, 2010 8:41 pm

Hi,

Im in UK on WP. Im going to apply for Visa for my new born baby. After reading various posts, I have now idea that I need to use FLR O form and application form should be filled as baby is filling it.

I have question related to section 4 (Your Home and Finance). In question 4.1 Is your home in the UK. Should I tick option d) owned or rented by friend or relative.

Im asking this because my baby do not own my flat.

Any advice please?

Yes, tick d) "owned or rented by friend or relative." and provide details.

That was how HO response when I asked that question.

Saying that, I have not applied yet myself for my little one.

Cheers,
T

Thanks T for your info. Very helping.

It seems such applications takes time.

Do you have HO office contact number so I can check how long such application takes these days ??

If it takes more than one month, I will think to go for same day application.

I will be completing my 5 years on WP october 2011. If I wait and include my baby as my dependent when I will be applying for ILR ? However, after reading various posts in this forum, ILR is going to replace by probationary citizenship in july 2011 and no one now much details about new rules.

When you finish your 5 years on WP you can have your dependants in your applications (not sure thought, as I've not been there yet)

The appropriate payment fee is given in the application form. Only the baby need to apply as all others already have valid leave to enter/remain until 2012.

Dear All,

I would like to apply for our new born baby Visa and I have following queries!

Should I use FLR (O) Visa form or PBS Dependent Visa form for our new born baby Visa?

Is Maintenance fund for 3 months is mandatory. If yes should I have to show maintenance fund for only our son or for myself + my Wife + our son. My Visa will expire in Oct 2012 its first 3 years of (Tier 2 Skilled Worker). We need to apply for his Visa as we are planning to travel in Oct 2010.

Please any answers………..

Thanks.

Can I book same day PEO appointment for my baby ? or such applications can only be made by post.

Im asking this question as UKBA online appointment system do not allow any one under 16 age to book appointment.
