It was really unfortunate, Are you aware of that the car was uninsured? If no, did you explain this in page 14 and requested them to consider the case favour to you?
I made a mistake of misinterpreting 3:00pm as 13:00 because i called to insure it around 12pm that same day! I feel this is a losing battle as they have no obligation to bend the rules for me!

Yes, they won't. But if you would have explained these facts, i think that the outcome might have been different. The case worker can only apply discretion if you convince him that you made offence by mistake and not deliberate. If you don't explain, they can't apply discretion and have to refuse by the rule. This is what I understood about the case worker by reading various posts in different forum.

fcuk19, was just wondering if your conviction is fairly recent? Or were you already convicted before you applied for ILR. Thanks

I have no intention of applying again in the future! Im in a funny situation of having a british family and being the odd one out!! interesting indeed!!

They said im welcome to apply though! I cant see the logic in that unless its after 5 years.

The 6 points were received last year.

Sorry to hear that, but it is a verry painfull and expensive experience. I'm sure the next time you'll take all the necessery steps before applying and sure you'll watch youself for not doing any thing selly for next 4 years.
I wish you best of luck next time,

As you appliyed after me and I have not received any thing yet, so I'm giving up hope with the HO. I will not bother to wait for the post man or stress about this matter untill 6 months elapsed...it's a promess.
Just one question : What region are you originary from ?

Pakistan is one of the commonwealth countries as well, and i dont think they process applications for people from Pakistan as quick as this.
