Need guidance for selecting degree under PBC

Hi All,
I have completed my B.E. from Mumbai University in Electronics & Telecomm. However there is no option to select subject as Electronics & Telecomm.

I have made following selection from PBS database :-

Country of study: India
State: Maharashtra
Qualification: Bachelor Degree
Institution or body: University of Mumbai
Course length: 4 years or less than 5
Course subject: Engineering
Year of award: 2006

Can someone guide if it is right selection ??? Someone who have applied from Mumbai university with similar background please verify ....

Yes, this is fine.

Produce the following:

Original convocation degree certificate
Passing certificate
BE fourth year Sem 7 and 8 marksheets.

This is enough for Qualification and points for English language.

What should I feel in Section 3.1 of SELF-ASSESSMENT form ?

Country of Award - India
State/Country/Province - Maharashtra
Institution - University of Mumbai
Year of Award - 2006
Qualification - Bachelor Degree
Field of study - Engineering

Is this correct ? or it should be ?

Qualification - Bachelor of Engineering
Field of study - Electronics & Telecomm.


Seniors please advise .....

Course subject: Engineering

Will this contradict with what I am going to fill in Self Assessment Form ?

Is than any other way? There isnt right. Your field is not listed in PBS, so Engineering as degree is the same for which the form has the field of study which is not there in PBS.

so Bachelors degree in Engineering
and Electronics and Telecoms is fine enough, as your would be showing your degree cert and final yr passing certificate which would show.

To clear the air for all, I applied with following details in the form & got the Tier-1 VISA

Qualification - Bachelor Degree
Field of study - Engineering
