Post by evkogo » Sun Jun 27, 2010 11:16 am

Hi,

Hope I am on the correct forum, pls assist,

I am in uk on visitors visa and pregnant for British citizen, If I give birth to my child while still here, how long will I be allowed to stay back and take care of my baby? my man wants the baby to stay here and get good care.

Thanks for your feedback

You need to leave the UK before your visitor visa expires.

Also I don't think you will be entitled to free NHS treatment, so if you did give birth here you may well receive a large bill.

You are better to return home and apply for a fiancee visa (you've asked about it in other threads) and get married. This will allow you to stay here and receive free healthcare.

(BTW This is in the wrong place - it should be elsewhere)
