90 days or 3 months?

Post by kpc1981 » Tue Jul 06, 2010 5:40 pm

Helloes,

what should the duration for maintenance funds? 90 days or 3 months?
Points calculator talks about 90 days where as UKBA site says its 3 months...

Can i count the day on which my account just got 2800GBP ? or i should i be excluding it?

When filling points based calculator, to calculate my previous earning, which day's exchange rate should i consider? As points may differ according to the exchange rate. Say i am going to VFS on 14th, on which day's exchange rate should i consider?

Thanks in Advance...

90 days should be ok...most of the times 3 months do cover 90 days so that should be ok as well.

its safer to start from the next day when your account received 2800 GBP as then the opening & closing amount for the day is 2800 GBP or greater

For previous earnings the exchange rate to be considered has to be the last day of the earning period claimed i.e if you are claimng from 01 june 2009 to 31st may 2010 then the exchange rate as on 31st may 2010 from the oanada website should be used for calculation..good luck!!
