Hi Everyone,
I received my Tier-1(General) VISA today....I have received lot of inputs from this forum.....which helped for my VISA success :D .
Applied @VFS Pune - 28th June
Submitted to BHC - 28th June
Application under Process - 5th July
Recevied Stamed VISA - 14th July

Hi,
Congrats to you as well dude......
My visa is valid from 15th Aug 2010.
With my VISA application I have submitted a hotel booking confirmation in LONDON which was from 15th Aug 2010. So might be on that basis I got this date.
Indeed i'm not travelling anywhere around those dates.

on my application i mentioned the data of travel was october 1st,so if i get visa they will give me from ooct1st onwards?

Depends on when you submit the application. If the date of travel is within 3 months of your application, Visa would start from October 1.

Mine starts from Oct 1st as well as I had mentioned the same in visa form.
Though not sure if I will travel then considering bleak storoies of job scarcity there.
