Hiya

Congratulations. Sounded like it was really easy and maybe I shouldnt worry so much.

I just wanted to know, did you have to provide any details of your bank savings, did they ask for this at all.

Many thanks

ILR_Applicant

no worry document you showing is enough but has to be over two year.

and also bank statment

will be enough

but take all document that you have with you it will help

cause if they ask something and you have it but at home then you lose your appointment and you have to do it again.. so take all with you but you have enough. as long as its all over two years. most important is joint then its realy helpfull. but individual is also fine don worry will get it

Many thanks for your kind response:

Actually,
1 )utility bills GAS/Electricity and water bills which are on both names(me and my wife) are sent out only once in 6 months. Is that fine? or we need to have everymonth bill. I checked with providers and they say only we can give bills once in 6 months. please suggest if it will have any issues?

2) what does it mean 6 docs from 3 sources. suppose if i can show them 3 docs which are in my name and other 3 docs which are in her name will that suffice..
I have doubts in this as they say 6 documents, what does it mean? should all 6 docs should be in SET(M) applicants name? or both? or 3 on SET(m) applican'ts name and othe 3 on ILR/Citizen name

Your help much appreciated

first of all
if you are getting bill every 6 months that fine

6 docs mean
either 6 joint---------if not
some joint and rest each one's single
if you have two on joint name then other four docs
4 docs on your name and
4 docs on your spouse

or all six of yours and six of your spouse

good luck

need help on ilr

Post by boyala24 » Sat Jan 29, 2011 9:33 am

My husband is completing 5 years by feb 2010 for applying ILR.
I have been staying with my husband in UK from 2007 Oct and I am on dependent visa.

We have joint names on below
council tax
mortgage

But below , we don't have joint names. All are on my husband name.
tv license
electricity bills
gas and water bills

we both have individual bank accounts.

Will it impact any thing to get ILR for myself being dependent ?
Please reply
