Hi Everyone!

I applied for a renewal of my T2 visa on July 27th 2010, I received the invitation to do the biometrics a week afeter that. I gave my biometrics on August 4th 2010. Since then I haven't heard anything back. It has been 5 weeks since my biometrics! I called a couple of times and the answer I get is: Keep waiting!!!! It is normal that it takes this long to get an answer? Has someone has experience a delay like this? I got my first T2 visa in just a week and a half when I applied in the US, I thought that being in the UK would be easier but it's been horrible.
Please help!

Lamaya, appreciate if you keep us updated as and when you get your documents back. I have a similar case.

I have applied for my Tier-2 visa extension and still waiting. Here are the dates:

Monday, 16/Aug: I applied by Royal mail next day delivery
Tuesday,17/Aug: Home office deducted the fees from Credit card
Friday, 20/Aug: I got Biometric enrollment request
Saturday, 21/Aug: Submitted biometric in one of Post Office braches

I am still waiting for my passport/visa to be returned. When I contacted home office they told only applications due over 14 weeks can only be entertained by them.

Hi Yargos!

I got my documents back today! I'm so happy :)
Here is my timeline:

I applied on Tuesday July 27th
Biometrics on Wednesday August 4th
Documents back: Wednesday September 8th

Waiting time since application: 6 weeks and 1 day.

Tier-1 PSW switch to Tier-2 General
For COS: 3 months
18/Aug: Post to the HO
19/Aug: Home office deducted the fees from Credit card
21/Aug: Get confirmation letter
25/Aug: I got Biometric enrolment request
26/Aug: Submitted biometric in one of Post Office braches
Now I am still waiting.

I got the Card today. 14/09/2010 and maybe my document will come shortly today or tomorrow

Hi tuanvo1982 ..thanks for the update.

Usually, you get the ICFN card the next day of recieving the passport docs.

I have posted on 17th Aug and hope I get mine soon.
