however saying that - the post seems to take two weeks to get to people!

I enclosed a Special delivery envelope (if they still have it) to return everything original I sent - but they might just send everything 2nd class anyway...

OOOO such a nerve wrecking experience!!!

I can feel your pain. My application was posted on the 11th January, and they didn't even debit the card! Like the EEA4, I am always put in the bad queue!
I am paranoid because I am checking the payment slip and there's no space to sign. How can they debit the card without signing authorizing it?

Well you are willingly giving your card number together with security codes etc... when you sign the declaration you are agreeing to it (thats how I see it anyway)

KC8010, Please calm down. there is nothing to worry. You will be getting your approval letter soon. Your passport is with HO otherwise they had contacted you. Just relax. You are worrying too much for nothing.

That was soooo super quick from the HO its so unbelievable.....I am sooooo sooooo happy!!! Gosh I am actually so happy I dont know what to say for once LOL

So, did you receive the letter today?
What's the next step? You just need to contact the council for the ceremony or do you need to wait for them to contact you?

Yes the letter came today special delivery with my passport and other docs.

The letter says you will receive a letter of invitation for the ceremony - do not ring your council - wait 2 weeks - I was approved yesterday - I am totally happy!!!! Cant stop smiling

I applied on Jan 05 - they received the application on Jan 06 - processed the money on Jan 10th and I was approved yesterday

i submitted my appl on 20 th dec via hendon NCS fee debited on 5 th jan 11 no ack letter to find out called the nationality dept they told they made a decisiion and its in the post i hav't recieved yet any idea guys what it might ? i know i need to be positive as u guys said earlier

Osterly,
Did you send your application with a prepaid special delivery envelope enclosed? If you didn't I would assume that you may receive your approval letter shortly (it may take 1 week to 10 days according to the other people posting their timelines).
I assume that KC8010 got next day because of the prepaid special delivery envelope.
