my husbands spouse visa got rejected in july 10 with the right to appeal so i appealed and gave all the supporting documents and in december my husband got a letter from the british embasy asking for his passport they had overturned the original decision ...he submitted his passport on the 14/12/10 and we still hve not recieved a reply yet i want to know how long this process will take...i am in pakistan ryt now and i want to come back with my husband..

Why not try to contact the BHC in Pakistan and ask for an update.

I think you wiil have a long wait if you want to do this. It takes on average 3 -4 months to get visa stamped in passport after such a decion or one where an appeal has been won.

Try contacting Croydon or Gerrys in Islamabad

somebody told me it takes approx 8 weeks 3-4 months that is a very long time

Meaning if you want to come back with your husband.

Like i said it could take a total of 3 months for visa to be stamped.

Obviously if you are not in a hurry to get back to UK, then it wont be a problem for you :wink:

oh ok...so it would defo take 3 months? or within 3 months?
will he defo get the visa? he got a letter from the british embassy asking for his passport tb test and they also said when he would like to travel etc,..my solicitor said it would take 6-8 weeks lol
im so confused :(

This is all well and done in most countries, however OP is Pakistani and the staff there are a law unto themselves. You only need to read the posts here
