Waited 7 months/rejected due to payment issues

Post by Gawida » Tue Jan 25, 2011 8:35 am

Hi,

I applied for FLR(M) visa June last year. After 7 months I received a reply saying that application was rejected because bank rejected the payment.

My students visa is expired now.

What could I do about it?

Many thanks

what bank?
what payment?

Please include enough details if you expect to get a worthwhile response to your thread.

Hi,

Payment: for visa application £500
Bank: Natwest
UK border agency could not take payment from bank because it was rejected .

The reason I presume: during those seven months the bank issued a new card which had new details, for example expire date etc. Therefore it was rejected because details did not match.

Kind regards

UKBA is usually veru quick with taking the money/fees from the account maybe with 10 working days. You should have contacted them within 2 weeks of your application submission as you have not noticed the money going out of your account.

I am not sure what other alternatives you have now, maybe other board memeber will be able to help you. However I think you should seek professional advice as soon as you can because you have the dated refusal letter from the UKBA to apeal/request for any kind of extension to your visa.
