Congrats mate,

Can u plz briefly tell me about your case? I mean did u switch from PSW?

Was your PGD giving u points on points calculator at the time of application?

Why u were refused initially?

Cheers

Very good you deserve it brother that is the slap for everyone who were saying that no way HO will give visa to PG diploma holders i am very happy for you .
just call the AIT customer service and find out if the counter-appeal has been lodged by BA.
If not, wait 2-3 weeks and if not heard anything, call the POU and find out where your file is. Normally if they decide not to appeal, they would send it to the AIU for processing, who will be in touch to request your passport and photos for the status evidencing.

Hi adamnator83

Congratulation a lot on winning your appeal and I am sure home office will not reappeal against it.and you will get Tier 1 G.

I am also on Tier 1 G and they gave me 30 points for my PG diploma.

I just want to ask you that what will happen at the time of our extension in 2 years time.

Can we get the same 30 points for our PG diplomas in extension applications .

any idea pease

Hi khanjaan

Thanks for reply and I also believe there will be no problem at extensions.according to their policy guidance we will get same points for our qualification which they gave at the time of our initial application.

It is good news that this guy,s appeal is allowed and khanjaan

I advice you to send ukba a preaction protocol (JR) letter and threaten them that if they are not accepting your PGD than you will file JR.

I am very sure that they will give you Tier 1 G.keep fighting, you will get it.

Thank you guys....but still one confussion.

Napier University was the name till 2009....and then it changed to Edinburgh Napier University after my Postgraduate Certificate.

Both the names appear on the PBS calculator. The old name doesn't give me points but the new name does.

What does this mean? Any ideas?
