Actually been looking out for applicants that used NCS Sutton... I used them too... :) Its seems that your application decision took almost 6wk and that ceremony Date, is that with Sutton Council too?... that is a long while to wait till the Ceremony..

I hope this has nothing to do with using NCS sutton cos this is the longest wait I have seen so far in this thread (well as far back as I cld go). I really hope that is not the processing time with Sutton NCS cos I used them too... :(
This is nothing to do with Sutton Council. Actually I am going on holidays on thursday so thats why can not do it before I come back. The ceremony will be in Kingston County Hall, the council is Weybridge Council. I was offered a place on 28th of March but I wont be in UK.

Congrats CptCrunch.....I'm happy to hear that this can take 6weeks. As my CRITERIA is similar to yours, I hope to get it all done in 6 - 8weeks too. I will be sending my application via NCS next Wednesday.

Once again, congrats.....it's been one eventful journey but you made it till the end.

Calling UKBA

Post by londongirl30 » Fri Mar 18, 2011 10:23 pm

Hello everyone, thanks for all your posts!

I submitted my application via NCS on 26 February but haven't heard anything. Please could you let me know which number you have called to ask about your application and what questions you asked (ie I don't want them to just tell me to wait 6 mths) :D Thanks everyone!

Londongirl30,
Your application is really recent.
Have they deducted the payment yet? And have they sent the acknowledgment letter to you?

Hi Glauco, thanks! Sorry I meant to say I haven't heard anything since my notification letter which I got on 2 March. I think I have just seen some people get their response really, really quick and have also called up, so wondered if that might be a good idea for me to do :D

I have sent my application few days before yours. There was no decicion made in my case as well. I think it is still so early to worry any way. Here is some question you can ask which I used. I asked them if a decision has been taken to my application as I am not sure what to write in Nationality section in the census questionnaire. I hope this can help you.. please keep me informed when you receive a response

Londongirl30,
No worries, I sent my application on the 7th February and just got their response recently. I was really wondering what was happening to my application too.
The fact that some people here receive within 2 or 3 weeks doesn't help our nerves hahah! But you should hear from them within 2 weeks time!

Citizenship of Partner

Post by khaweriba » Sat Mar 19, 2011 10:53 pm

Hi Everone

An advise is requested in my partner case.

She has over 1000 days of absences outside UK in last five years and over 200 days in last one years.

All of these absenses are because of the birth of my children and hospitalization of my elder child for which she has to stay outside UK. Certainly, if a child is bron outside UK, getting visa is time taken process as well.

I am a british citizen and now applying for my children citizenship via MN1 form.

The question is, if I apply for my wife citizenship along with my children. Is there any way that her application is approved as well and the case worker will give her relaxation in terms of ABSENCES from UK.

Sugestions are really appreciated.

Best regards,

MKI

hello, i called ukba and they said a decision had been made and i would receive the decision in the mail this week.

they wouldn't tell me the decision on the phone - is this good or bad news (or normal?). I thought a few people had been told over the phone of the outcome....

thanks
