Applying for your first adult passport
If you are applying for your first adult passport, you should apply at least six weeks before you want to travel.

Please note that you may use any local authority offering Nationality Checking Service not just the one where you live.

Within two weeks after applying for the passport. All he needs to send in is his signed two photo, passport and his naturalisation certificate.
