Tier2 ICT to Tier2 General & Query on Cooling periods

Hi,

I am working in the UK for the past year and half on a Tier2 ICT.

1. Being made to believe by the employer that on a Tier2 ICT i can stay for a maximum period of 2years afterwhich a cooling period of 3months is required (as claimed to be an agreement between UKBA and my employer to reduce tax). Given the reality i still pay Tax, Would like to know if such rules does exists?

2. I am considering of swtiching from my present employer, and i believe i can switch to Tier2 General upon switching jobs/employers, am i right in understanding?

3. Any links or help on companies sponsoring Tier2 General is much appreciated (for i see lot of oppurtunities in my area of expertise)

As an ICT, there are tax relief benefits for the first two years. The agreemememt is more likely with HMRC.

You can switch but that that may change soon.
