Applied 09Mar
Recd on 10Mar
Debit on 16mar

Called today & my app has been picked up by a case worker last friday (15Apr) apparently and is in the "final checks".

Was told to expect a decision in about 2weeks.

Fingers crossed...

Just spoke to one of the advisors, dont think he was in a good mood or may be he was fed up talking to people today :) any ways my application is still waiting to be allocated and said that total procedure can take up to 6 months. I guess they only taking those cases who applied first or second week of March. Our turn will come next month. he counted number of calls I made this month to HO lol

Hi Ferrarilondon,
Yes, they know how many times one has called!
Sometimes when I called they said like: "But we already informed to you last Thursday about the status"!! :-)

I hope you get yours really soon. I know you are very anxious and I am fingers crossed for a fast outcome to you! Have a nice bank holiday.

Hi Ferrarilondon,

That's why I asked in my previous post what impact does frequent calling make on timeline of one's app. I've decided not to call them again until my application reaches 6weeks with them. I called them last week by the way......anyways, I think we can all be rest assured that nothing tangible will happen over the course of next 2weeks due to holidays and the prestigious wedding lol!

But, I'm sure we will all get goodnews in the end..........fingers crossed...my next call date is 6th of May

I think some people here should get a grip on reality and stop abusing Home Office phone lines (not to mention that they are not obliged to give you any information before 6 months - you are abusing their good will). The only result would be that they will stop giving any status updates whatsoever!

And 6 weeks is nothing, I applied earlier than most of you and I'm still waiting (not very patiently, but quietly).

Wunder chill mate, If HO does not have problem giving out information than you should not either so take it easy, let people ring whoever they want. It does not say any where that they are not obliged to give any details until 6 months. All it says is it can take up to 6 months to consider the application. So get your facts right. If some one pay around 800 for the service they expect the answers ( updates of their applications ) that is why HO call centre is there for.

Also can i ask, once they take the money out, does that mean I've filled in the form correctly and checks are done?
