Thanks ferrarilondon, after seeing the posts here yesterday, I felt tempted and did give them a ring a few minutes back as I had to ask about change of employer address etc... Never asked for an update, but the person on the phone said all these now won't be needed as your application is now complete. Hearing these words my heartbeat stopped and I asked the outcome.

The person said I am not authorised to disclose the information but you will receive a letter in next 10 days. I just hope guys it's good news

Don't worry this is a normal wording on approval..
otherwise they say, we have sent you a letter for more information.
So enjoy the bank holiday...and try to call your local council next week ...

C'mon Lionking007 you got it mate. Did they say when the decision was made? I think it takes 3-4 working days to get the letter to you from the date they make the decision. Congrats in advance

Spoke to my council today (Newham) they said they haven't got my certificate yet. They also told me that since they do 4 ceremonies in a week a lot of London applicants are trying to get the ceremony done there and that has caused them extra work to do and delaying in ceremony process. Lady told me that they received so many certificates yesterday but not enough staff to up load in computer. I will try to call them again on tuesday.

CONGRATS! Good to know you finally got yours! Still waiting for mine, so frustrating. They told me last thursday/friday that the decision was made on 18th may and should be getting the letter soon...then i rang yesturday to enquire why have i not got the letter yet and another lady said the letter was sent out on the 25th! Is it normal for this to happen? Dont know which adviser to believe but I just have to wait...can i just ask if the approval letter in a brown or white envelope from HO? Reason I ask is cause i call home every day from work to check if its arrived!

Envelope is brown, with return address po box 306, l2 oqn. In my case I called them in 26th May and they said that decision was made on 24th and no letter was posted. To my surprise the letter arrived yesterday dated 24th. The case worker told me to wait for 4 weeks to get the letter. Surprisingly 4 weeks went so quick. I hope you get yours today.

our case is very similar to yours wp + ilr, we sent on 25th feb payment was deducted on 3rd April but we have applied as a family 2 adults 2 children. Hope our good news will arrive soon.

Congratulations to all approval recipients. It seems as though all March applications have been considered and decision letters are being sent through. I hope April applicants begin to get some positive feedback soon.

Ferrarilondon I GOT IT TODAY!! Finally, the wait is over the approval letter along with the ceremony letter came today from my council. Glad its all over, letter was dated 19th May so it took awhile..they already booked me in for the 22nd June for the ceremony but I asked before and they do a private ceremony at £75 every monday...so will ring on tuesday to book for following monday. Good Luck to all waiting and keep the faith
