Congrats SRV_N

I sent mine (Set M) on the 28th, that's two days before you, but nothing yet. Please did you include a self addressed special delivery envelope when you sent your application or did you ILR come by 2nd class mail ?

[quote="kdela"]Hi there,

I sent my SET (o) application on the 3rd April (Special Delivery)
Money was taken out of my account on the 6th of April
I haven't received a confirmation letter yet and I haven't heard anything since.

I thought it was suppose to take 4-6 week however looking back at the website it is now saying up to 6 months.

Good news I received my documents back this morning after an attempted delivery yesterday 28th of May.

Mine was straight forward ancestry

All relevant original birth,marriage certificates
Passport

It was about a 7 week turnaround.

Hi all,

Because this is a very good community, I should share my timescale of ILR application.

I applied my SET(O) application under 5 years workpermit holder category with no depenant.

Sent the application by special delivery on 23rd March.
Received by UKBA on 24th March.
Money was taken on 31st March. ( I sent a cheque )
Received an acknowledgement letter on 1st April. (Dated 25th March)
Received ILR on 27th May. (Dated 17th May)
It took 9 weeks in my case.

The documents I enclosed are
Pass certificate of "Life in the UK test"
A support letter from my emproyer
6 months of my pay slips
6 months of my bank statements

I know waiting is awful but hope this information helps you and good luck to everyone!!!

Hi all

I got my passport yesterday with ILR stamped. My dates are

29 March - Application sent with payment already made through online option

28 May - Passport with documents sent back through recorded delivery.

So the timing is around 9 weeks.

[Moderator edit: Don't post queries irrelevant to the subject of the topic.]

Thanks

Samin

ILR application waiting time - 20 Months

Post by jalalrana » Fri Jun 10, 2011 10:32 pm

Hi everyone,

:D I finally received my ILR on 06 June 2011, visa dated 27/05/2011. My solicitor took an in person application on 24/09/2009, which was kept by Home Office based on some technical problems with their computer system. During that time I was never asked to submit any document by the Home Office. Although I wrote severalletters from time to time. I only had three points on my driving license.

Happy ending. Best of luck to everyone.

ILR Processing times - is it taking longer now?

Post by emarketeruk » Fri Jun 17, 2011 12:20 pm

Seems like since first week of April, ILR processing has slowed down a lot. After reading different forums, it seems people applied around 1st week of April for ILR haven't received any response yet. (most)

I guess because of the changes to ILR on 1st week of April, they would have a got lot of application before the change date to avoid the new rules.

seems like ppl who have applied during the last week of April has to wait for another good one month?.. if not more.. :o(

please keep us updated if anyone received you ILR who applied after first week of April?

u r right..it wud be bcoz of the huge pile of applications and also more procedures implementing those rules.
Many cases were decided within 4-6 weeks in march and feb.
