Small update.

Called home office today they told decision is made and letter to be posted. Normally how long it takes to print/post.

5 to 10 days. some on the forum have received in 3 days. The average time is 5 - 10 days

Hi Everyone ,

I am very pleased to announce that we received our approval letters on Saturday 11/06/2011. They were on different envelopes, now just waiting for the ceremony letter.

The wait was particularly very stressfull because one of us has a unsettled large CCJ and we were not very sure if it would affect the application or not. Because of not being sure we filled NO on the application form regarding the court question.. We have read extensively on this website and others and had mixed reviews on CCJ's. So we are very very pleased with the outcome. Well, until we get the passports is when we can start to actually fully celebrate. Bought the champagne though, just waiting to pop it when the passports finally arrive.....

Thank you everyone on this forum, it has been great reading the updates and it kept the long long (10 weeks) wait less anxious. All the best to all those who are waiting and congratulations to all those who have already received theirs

Max 7 to 10 working days. if you in hurry then you can get interview ref number over the phone by calling IPS

Average time line is around 10 to 15 week.

Had a chat with staff at the registrar office in London Tower Hamlets and was told they are working in a different way from other councils.

They will send a letter with a proposed date and time for my ceremony. I should only call them if the date/time doesn't suit me and I need to change.

Basically, no invitation letter from the council, no citizenship ceremony!

On my Credit card statement it shows : NATIONALITY DIRECTORAT LIVERPOOL

ok thanks coz i am going to my bank tommor to check about the any transaction approched or not otherwise it was totaly ukba mistake that they have enterned the wrong card detail. i will inform my bank aswel that if next time any payment transatction aproched from NATIONALITY DIRECTORAT LIVERPOOL please make no restriction on my card. hope this time it will work.

mate i think you may hear something very soon as i think applications made in april may be less compared to feb and march
