17.06.2011: Called HO and was advised that the application has passed the initial checks and waiting to be allocated to a case worker. Waiting period is three months, however, its likely to be done earlier than that.

Seems the HO have picked up the pace. From the looks of things, they've received an overwhelming amount of applications at end of March. I think we will see a much faster approval time in the next week or two. Sit back, relax and enjoy the wait
