It wont affect your application!! We requested our Passports back at the start of May & got them no problem - used the Fax number to request them!!

Depending on who your Caseworker is, they will request them back. Ours was requested back on 13th June

Then what is the reason you needed passport back, if you want to leave the country you have to wait you get your residence card but if you cant wait, apply for a resident permit when your are coming back or fight your way in with IO at the port of entry with the EU Law that is if the airline lift you, that will be a very big fight if you don’t already have a bad immigration record, the law is on your side, but ukba will not want to see it. That is why it is on your own best interest to wait for your residence card.

You can enter the UK with CoA. Should not be a problem once you get to the UK border. The only issue is if you are a visa national as the airline might refuse to allow you to board the flight.

RC on A4 paper???

Post by mimine30 » Mon Jul 04, 2011 12:26 am

Ho everyone
I tecentely received my RC after a sucesseful eea2 application but unfortunately it was printed on an a4papper called Immigration statut document .even though the uKBA has my passport but on another departement in respect of precipice failed application
Now my passport has been returned after my request I would like to have it printed with my RC sound simple enough but I been told that will take as normal as new eea 2 application
Do you think thats correct?
Has anyone been through that?

Thanks

Why would it be wrong? No matter why you apply you will have to satisfy the conditions for residence under the EEA regulations, i.e. your application will need the same evidence as previously and hence it will be processed as all other applications.

I may be wrong, but i believe if the application was with the department during the application process, it was valid, and they failed to endorse the Residence Card on it, then it may be right to say, it is unreasonable to expect the applicant to make a fresh application for a mistake made by the HO.

On the paper or the passport it make no difference as long you have it, better on paper because if your passport expire you dont need to request a reissue all you need is staple it on your new passport, it is valid and recognized anywhere you go and when coming back to uk.

Guys, O need your opinion on this!

I just received an email from ''LiverpoolEuro.PassportReturns'' , who I was writing to on last Fri ( 01st July) that recording to their records, the decision has been made on my application and it is sent to the appropriate departments for the despatch of the all documents. I was writing to them regarding my husbands id card.

I just hope it will be a positive outcome as I lodged a passport on 11th of Apr and still it was valid. on 15th of May it has expired. After I got my COA i requested my passport back so I can switch it with a new one which was already was already issued by my embassy in london but they couldnt give it to me until i give them my old, expired one , held by H O , for the cancellation.
Then finally, waiting for more than 10 working days to get my expired passport back, I got it and immediatelly went to my embassy inLodnon and collect my new biometric one and cancle the expired one, and I promised H O when requested the expired one I will be sending back to them my new biometric one once I collect it from my embassy ( and I have a proof for that promise via emails I have sent them when requesting that expired one back).

So, I am only now shivering for the reason that they might refuse my application as they did not have a valid passport with them, but I have in written that I requested back my expired passport for the purpose of delivering them a new passport shortly.

As my husband has his own limited company ( banking/ IT consultancy) , I lodged letter from his accountant, stating what is his gross annual salary and dividends and that he is sole director and the only shareholder, his employment agreement with one of the bank here, his business payslips with the all earnings of his company.
He has quiet good daily pay grade as he is contractor, but the only issue would be that just recently we got from his accountant that END YEar certificate so I planned to send them soon as possible but as you can see now , they said they made a decision already upon my application!

Do you think they might refuse me because I was missing that End YEar certificate ( considering that my husbands accountant officially signed and confirmed all his incomes and rights and onwership are nothing but a true and authentic) ?

Thanks a lot in advance!
Ps, I was really hoping I will make to send them my new passport so they will put sticker on it and provide that End YEar Certificate as an additional document, but I hope they had more than enough of necessary documents.

It has the picture on it.
In fact, it's the same label they glue in the passport, but now stick to an A4 paper. You see the same thing that you will see in the passport.

Find some reason to ask one of your passports back , and they might speed up process of making decision on ur application.

Second class should not take more than 3 working days!

Just because they have issued on that specific day, does not mean they will send it to you on the same day, too.
